Hello Out There!
Helloooooooooooooo! I'm new to this new fangled stuff, but seems kinda fun! The Parelli Program is changing so I'm changing too. Can't wait to find out the changes to become a Parelli Professional, to see if I can do it. I'm in level 1, and am progressing...
I became interested in Parelli Natural Horse.Man.Ship when I found out about a tour stop in Nampa, ID a few years ago. I submitted my Mustang for a demo horse, but he didn't make it(this was a blessing in disguise!) I have become increasingly interested since then. I got my Mustang SimmerOn from a horse rescue in 2000. I have been told on numerous occasions that he is dangerous, stupid, out of control, I should sell him, put him down etc. However there is something in his eyes that calls to my very soul. His wildness "Simmers On" hence his name. I also have an aged Thoroughbred Mare "Maple" that I saved from slaughter. We have been told that she is at least 38 yrs. young, and has an unreadable tatoo on her upper lip. I was recently given an 8 yr. old Quarter horse gelding..."Ute" for a b-day/Christmas present. I greatly enjoy Team Sorting. I also work with my bro. and sis. in law's Arab mare "Storm". I have Glaucoma, so the Parelli Program is VERY important to me. I would like to become a Parelli Professional, but with my eyesight challenges, I don't know if this is possible.
Hello mom and welcome!
